Your well-being as a guest is our prime concern in the Posthotel Hofherr. To make your stay in our house even more comfortable, we have extended our offer with a generous wellness area. In a cosy environment, surrounded by pleasant warmth, you will be able to relax body and spirit, in every season of the year. Perspire in the classic Finnish sauna, free up your airways in the Bio-sauna or relax in the Roman steam bath. In addition, we also have a solarium and a whirlpool, a special shower experience and an infra-red warming booth. Two separate rest rooms provide you with a comfortable retreat.

Human beings were already making use of hot springs by the Stone Age, and the first saunas go back to early civilisations. The modern sauna is a Scandinavian invention and nowadays it is credited to the Finns. The beneficial effect on joints and bones of the high temperatures in the sauna is widely known. At the same time, the respiratory system benefits from airborne essential oils. Bathing at alternating temperatures stimulates the immune system and firms the skin.

Our sauna facility including the Finnish sauna is currently open for hotel guests from 4.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.

Extern guests may als enter, but only after registration.
