Our inn has a history going back more than 400 years and has been in our family for generations. We feel that the tradition linked to this ownership imposes a total obligation on us and we are always striving to do our best for our guests. Thanks to its favourable position in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, the Posthotel Hofherr is a popular destination for conferences, just as it is for longer relaxing holidays or short stays, for example for a golf or wellness weekend.

So that our guests can keep a cool head even in hot weather, we also serve meals from our menu on the sunny beer garden terrace. Under the shady canopy of the chestnut trees, surrounded by green ivy, the comfortable courtyard is the ideal place to enjoy our hearty Bavarian cuisine and a cool glass of beer. Visit us on a hike or cycle tour, to enjoy a hearty “Brotzeit” traditional snack in the open air, or spend time here on holiday until the late evening draws in.
